Conservation Efforts

A large part of what we do as a group is assist in the restocking of native species in the streams in Southern Arizona and the White Mountains.

We've assisted in installing and monitoring temperature loggers, crawdad disposal, building and maintaining barriers and planting bushes and trees for shade.

Current plans call for work in Coleman Creek blue River Drainage, Mt Graham, and the west fork of the Black.

Robin Marsett is the current lead for OPTU Conservation and welcomes all who are interested in assisting with our conservation efforts.
